Buying and selling cars

I want to get into buying and selling cars but know absolutely nothing about automotive mechanics. Why do i want to buy and sell cars? What better way to drive the car you love buy finding a gig that allows you to buy and sell them.
What i want to know is what to expect in this business

Big difference, you used to be able to swing arbitrage between the free papers and auctions and the used market. I don't know if you can do this anymore. Many states o my allow you to sell three cars a year without becoming a registered dealer. That is unless you never put the car in your name, but since car are usually not cash deals, this will be problematic.

The only guy i know that has done this successfully was a guy who was already very wealthy and knew just about everything about cars. So unless you have a big capital pool and a knack for finding rare cars your probably not going to do very well.
