What sort of financial planning should someone take if they make the decision to never have children? Is it still worth it to put money down on a house? Accumulate wealth then give it to charity when you die?

I decided to never have children then my gf went off birth control to get pregnant so now I have children. Probably get snipped if you actually don’t want children. Otherwise at some point someone will tell you the birth control must have failed. :))

not OP, but for the sake of discussion lets re-phrase the question:

one would like a family, but a lot of us here have so many obstacles that realistically it will be extremely unlikely to happen. many obstacles are self-imposed: not attractive, prefer to live alone, no experience with girls into late 20's, neet, etc. but many obstacles are not self imposed. feminism and the courts are very anti-male at the moment - i certainly don't want to risk my hard earned financial resources to a whimsical divorce. and i don't need to tell any of you how fucked the world is in general atm.

so the question becomes: are there any financial optimisation opportunities for men who can strongly speculate that they will remain single for the remainder of their life?

Why do you need to rephrase the question? I'm not being a victim to feminism or whatever, I just don't want a family. /Biz/ and 4chan reees nonstop about hating women, hentai and dickgirls and I ask one question about envisioning a financial future without a wife or children to worry about and all of a sudden everyone is a tradcon. Why?

I dont really see how its different other than you dont have to plan for things like college or unexpected expenses related to your spouse/children. And estate planning is not as important

Probably just own your home outright. Spend all you want. When you are unable to work, take a reverse mortgage so you die owning nothing.

Spend money on things that fulfill you. Science, entertainment, other things.
It's not like Bill gates lives for his children. His wealth is about something else
