I keep having nightmares about bears and black birds. Two nights ago I dreamt a bear was eating my family and then he was going to eat me, and then I woke up. And last night I had a dream where the house was filled with black birds all over the floor and tables and they were all sleeping and it was extremely difficult to walk around without touching them and my leg touched one of the birds and it woke up and looked at me and then I turned around and all the birds were looking at me. It was the most terrifying dream I've ever had. I'm scared of going to sleep now.

when i was a kid i was super into this i would put lights on my computer that would periodically flash after a few hrss that would induce lucid dreaming and i had a light alarm to take me out of rem halfway through my sleep
