I bought some LTO and want to move them to wallet to lease.
Kinda feel unsafe on using LTO wallet, what’s your solution /biz?

I was thinking about a usb + live linux with encrypted partition for extra safeness in case of local access to my machine

I would use the usb only to access my wallet

Is it feasible or should I expect Igor to stole my money?

The solution is to quit being a pussy and use the main net faggor.

Just save the seed somewhere secure and clear browser data...
It's seed based the username pw dont mean shit, other than to prevent local access after being logged in with seed
I just log out so to speak by deleting the browser data

Just delete your fucking BILL gAIDS OS and install a proper linux like gentoo.

And for all of you faggots with your silly encrypted USB thumb drives which you are using as wallets: I hope you have backups of them on a non-sold state / non-flash drive somewhere. This pieces can lose data quicker than your mom swallows my cum.

Not using windows at all should be self explainatory.
Most of the linux world is already compromised in a way or another. E.g. systemd is the trojan horse to degrade linux into something like windows and create many potential vulerabilities. Don't use debian, ubuntu, arch, etc. since they force systemd on you.
And compiling every piece of software yourself and not using systemd eleminates many more attack vectors.
You could also use hardening flags for the compiling when you run of meds one day.

So anon do you think that a LIVE bootable gentoo solution could be safer than recalling to clear the cache as suggested by >>29072471?
Could gentoo live keep the browser data saved on the USB as well, leading to a potential threat in your opinion?

I think OP was talking about being protected against physical access, not form prism boogeyman

Gentoo for your main OS. Would be too much hassle to manage a live OS with gentoo.
For live OS you could use TAILS which got many features for the paraniod. Edward Snowden suggested it as well

Doesn’t tails use TOR as a browser? It doesn’t seems the best option to use it as LTO unlock wallet via browser.
Am I missing something anon?

>> No.29078110

Just boot into a Linux Live or TAILS session, connect to the web wallet, generate the key (this is done locally), write down your seed words and receive address and then end the session. You now have a cold wallet.

this is going to $5 right?

It sounds to be the most balanced solution, thank you anon
