Me. I had 15k in the main cryptos (BTC/ETH) back in november. Wanted to try shitcoins and I got in to the mainly shilled ones RSR etc. I even bought 150K RBC for dirt cheap and sold it a few days later. December 31st hear of this yield farm and YOLO in 95% of my crypto in like a retard. Wake up new year and it had an exploit and I lost all of my money. Left with like 0..45 ETH. RBC mooned a few weeks later and I really wanted to kms because I missed out on an opportunity to make $150K (more money that me the poor fag has ever had). Barely got anything left, watching everyone else make money is really killing me. I fear by the time I get my hands on a few grand the bull run will be over or all the projects that will make it will already have passed. Such is life. :/ Atleast I still have my 15K in stocks.

Anyone buying BTC now or ETH now in a small quantity is going to exit out before they actually get a profit, and a good one at that.
For small traders, they need to buy on a dip during a bull market, slowly build up something which they're comfortable with, then buy back in once the bullrun is over.
And that's just if you're a small trader. If you're at thousands or just over like 400ish, you have the buying power to hold during the bull market and get out before the crash.

Sometimes you can take a risk when you don't mind losing things, but right now, unless you're a swing trader who's experienced enough to make small profits with a low amount, anyone else trying to beat this bull market is an idiot.

1. Purchasing a token without research. (lack of knowledge/tokenomics/high mcap.)
2. Bought a token at launch. Apes? proceeded to dump their bags 2 days later. (Xstable)
3. Thought I could be "Early" on a meme coin. In over my, head lost my gains. (Hoge)
4. Uniswap fee-rape trading. Entering a project "early." Seeing no price action, moving to another project. I've spent $1000 on uniswap fees.
5. Purchasing high (Asko.) Proceeded by massive whale dump.
6. Not holding long enough. (Bunny)
7. Listening to youtube/twitter shills. More often than not. Will get you in trouble.
8. Trusting an incompetent team. (Asko)

After all that. I'm on Egg. And I'm up to $3600 now. And I am not messing with any weird coins after this. Perhaps I'll find something a little safer for the next round. Lots of room to grow.

Yea I'm done with trading anything ETH based off of centralized exchanges. I have mid 5 figures, and every single fucking swap is like $50+ dollars now. Even on 1inch.

I'm up like 7x on the year, but these ETH DeFi fees could have been their $20k stack on PancakeSwap already.

ETH DeFi is dying, and maybe dead, unless you're such a whale that paying thousands of USD in transaction fees is worth it.

I got in to crypto late and aped $7,000 into ALPHA close to the top, then 3 days later they got hacked and the price tanked 30% or so. add in gas fees from a few swings and ive just barely broken even now. It is funny when you swing your whole stack to a different coin and days later you can buy so much more of your original coin w that same stack, gas fees factord in and all.

so i started with about $4000 in the beginning of feburary. traded every day until that was around $6000. i put everything into bsc coins the beginning of this week. 55k wynaut, cake, egg, some other stuff.
anyway last night the meowth thing came out and i decided to cash out all my wynaut at .10, cake at 10, egg at 85, etc. and put it all into meowth.....at $17.
i panic sold at $7.
if i would have not fucked with meowth and just held everything, i would have about $30,000 today.
instead i have $6000.

this thead is a great example of why the majority of your portfolio should be long term buy & holds & you should focus the majority of your time in to making an income to buy more.
if you have less than 6 figures in capital, you should probably just buy BTC & ETH and go drive uber on a friday or something.
Only when you get to mid 6 figure hell does the extra income matter less, and your portfolio allocation matter more. Even then, 80% of your stack should be in things that are guaranteed to pump 5-10x this year (BTC/ETH/DeFi blue chips), with only 20% of your portfolios to flip shitcoins & moonshots. even then, in the current market, buying a coin then forgetting about it for 3 months probably makes you more than actively managing your stack.
The most profitable thing you can do is allocate your capital, then sit on your hands/ go outside and work to make more.

mid 6 figure hell personal portfolio is:
>BTC 60%
>cash 20% (have taken profits from some coins, waiting for an opportunity i like)
>link 5%
>snx, eth, aave 3.5% each
>sushi, ren, other smallcaps 1% each
these are all long term buy & holds, already up 3x minimum, 10x on some of these. will keep holding this year as we're only just getting started.
