This is long-term play. Ripple is 5th most funded company in Silicon Valley atm, because they own a lot of Ripple and are allowed to pay wages and assets with a fixed amount every month (millions of $). They are hiring like crazy, over 200 PhD-level employees, former business architect at SWIFT.

You know SWIFT? It is shit. Technology from the 70s, expensive, slow. However, it pushes 5 trillion $ a day.

Ripple will replace SWIFT. Governments/regulatory bodies want banks to replace SWIFT too. Banks get instant transactions and cheaper costs with XRP.

There will be 100 billion tokens available. So the new corporate Paypal is not going to be worth 100 billion $? (while transferring, say, 1 trillion $ a day globally)

It sure as shit is going to $1 / XRP. It will take 3-5 years for this. It's 0.15$ right now.

There is no way this coin will net you a lot of short-term profit, as they don't want the coin to be volatile (you dont want the value of XRP to change too much during $kk+ transactions). But Ripple absolutely benefits from a slow steady increase in valuation.

How many Bitcoins does Nakamoto have? around 1 million? no one knows... and there are certainly other whales around who could potentially crash the market... but they don't.
