Is it too late to invest in crypto?

Everything on fiat exchanges has mooned and priced me out.

I cant invest in shitcoins because gas fees are atrocious and make it unprofitable.

Has this shipped sailed?

I wonder if I bought 1 BTC in January I would now have doubled (roughly) the value of my investment. Shit is wild. So no, not too late. You're early if you still got like 60 years on the planet.

You're still very early. Gas fees will plummet once ETH 2 rolls out. Institutional investors have just started to dip their toes into this, the market is very very far away from mass public adoption. Any coin you buy today will either be worth nothing or be worth insane amounts of money in a decade. The ups and downs are only going to increase in ferocity. There is nothing stopping you from taking the $3 fee to buy $20 of whatever currency you want on coinbase, of course, $20 x 100 is still only $2000.

Get on the Binance Smart Chain bro, just buy a few BNB to get started.

Funny thing, when I entered the market everything seemed expensive even when that was clearly not the case in retrospect.

But, there might be a retrace or even a crash ahead so do not waste all ammo at once like I did.

For the most part this is my feeling. Early Feb jump in for me. Got in $2.4k between the obvious choices: BTC, ETH, LTC, and LINK. Decided XLM and AGLO needed love because - and I shit you not - they looked cool.

I'm about $2.7k at the moment. Heeeyyy 1.2x is a far fucking cry from 100x or shit even 10x. Look. The world works like it works, no one's going to be like "hey anon check this money press out". Doesn't happen.

So secure a good DCA when you can at dips, READ CHARTS, look up paperwork, DYOR. Don't get shilled shit like that pancake egg meowth shit that doesn't pass my sniff test and I can't afford to loose. I'm sure it's worked out well for a dozen or so folks who rode the pump and dumped, but I'm no day or swing trader.

I used to buy BTC back in 2014 for drugs. Kek'd as a wageslave when it boomed and busted. Never had any more than $0.50 to a couple dozen dollars of leftover from BTC. God I wish I could trade all those shitty drugs I did for the BTC I spend on them I'd be a king twice over.

Trying to end one addiction without starting another. Felt like a tool around Feb 3rd so I got my foot in the door with what I could afford to loose.

I think for poorfags like us, just get your foot in the door. That's the strategy. DYOR. My BTC, ETH, and LTC are all carrying the pack. Might move 'em around to lean ETH. I won't make a move until I know exactly what to do and when. Right behind that, just for me when I bought in, ALGO, LINK, and XLM. That's all I'm trying to "stack" and even for me it feels too spread out. I plan to get out when I'm up between 1.5-2x I'll feel that one out, but I'm 100% out and plan to spend non-crypto kings-gold when it does for more secure crypto. Crypto is the way forward, I'm sure of that. It's certainty not going away.

Yes you can make it. Just recognize greed and the empty pit of "want" for more ad infinitum. There's always a path. You just have to find yours.

You can always make a shitton of money by "day trading" leveraged crypto derivatives, but this is definitely not a game for retarded noobs.

Well he doesn't have to invest exclusively in ETH, you know.

For example:
Cardano, which is the direct competition for ETH has fixed transaction fees following a formula:

a + b x size,
Where a & b are constants:
a = 0.155381 ADA,
b = 0.000043946 ADA/Byte

1 ADA is currently ~0.7611 EUR

well I won't complain if ETH 2 never happens. Plenty of people are willing to pay miners insane fees, apparently.
