Pro move: investing in NFT platforms like nft20.io and the MUSE token.

Noob move: buying individual NFT collectibles and hoping they’re worth a lot of money in several years.

the NFT concept is actually pretty useful, but the "art" is just CryptoKitties mixed with money laundering

I was looking into which NFT token to get into last week and almost ended up getting shilled into this trap. Imagine thinking 'digital collectibles' have any worth.

ya this is what i don't get about nft's. it's just a fucking image. what exactly prevents people from sharing it without purchasing?

If we all agree that this is worth a lot of money maybe idiot will actually pay!

NFTs have no value right now. They could have value later on once Tim Sweeney's metaverse world-mmo takes over the planet, and you live in the matrix.

Literally nothing. It’s a total meme. NFTs may have some other use but art ain’t it.

Nothing

But the real one would be the one that can be traced back to X address.

It's still a stupid concept designed to make idiots pay for pixels.

in that case the only use case i can see for it is something like video game achievements. or money laundering.

>> No.29048771

Art and it's valuation doesn't make sense. It's a status thing. People want to own the real thing. Photography is the same. Why would the original be worth more than an identical copy? I'm not saying it makes sense, but that's just the way it is. Money laundering is a thing too

Unless you're a mega whale you're priced out of the best NFT tier by now and its not worth buying in for the low ones.
Paying $10k for a CHANCE at an NFT that might be worth 0.05 eth if someone deigns to buy it?

I would see this working if the NFT were ownership/authenticity documents that accompany a real life art piece.

That helps prevent falsifications.
