Avalanche is decentralized, BSC is not.

So decentralized that you can stop the chain at will and hardcode unsigned blocks into it

Cool, well Avalanche fees will soon be lower than BSC and you won't be using a Chinese scam platform where the nodes collude and front run your orders

>>29041655
Never actually happened, the system stopped itself and nodes were updated to fix a bug which happened in Bitcoin before and a much smaller problem than the DAO hack of Ethereum, but I can understand why someone who would defend BSC doesn't have any fucking understanding of how cryptocurrencies work, why decentralisation is important and why Avalanche is the best platform that will destroy Binance

lol no it didn't, consensus should have kept going on, using the longest chain (as in the one containing the signed septuple mint kek)

Except the C chain (ethereum) was stopped since not a 80% majority of the validators had the bug triggered on them. P and X chain continued as normal.

FUD more faggot, you aint getting AVAX below $40 ever agan.

avax is a whale coin. people stake and gain the transaction fees. you need 2k avax to stake. which hard limits the number of nodes to 360000. But realistically it will be much less currently we have 847 nodes, and only 32 address have enough avax to create a new node.

this is not decentralisation! just a bunch of whales running things... again.

>> No.29046034

>>29045807

okay I'll correct myself on one thing. 2k is to operate a node.

>> No.29046172

>you need 2k avax to stake

This is getting reduced again with Apricot, no worries

>> No.29046404

>>29045807

2/2 the biggest problem with this is that eventually all stakers will gain a monopoly on the coins.

>> No.29047122

>>29045807
Still better than POLKADOT with their MAX 1000 validators and pay $50M to enter.

AVAX will reduce to 500 avax to run a validator, when the limit is reached for todays values. Most of those 847 validator nodes have empty seats, 8x the 2k avax for delegation.

>>29046404
Ill take this critique seriously if you want to do something about it, join me. We can fork avax, improve it a little bit and we will then not sit on the majority stake through a "foundation" we own or through our friends. We remake the initial distribution to be more decentralized, say by airdrops to smallest current AVAX wallets. Deal? Are you in?
