you used to be able to simply download an excel spreadsheet of all your transactions into turbotax and be done with it.

now you need to spend literally $200 to use this weird cointracker service and it's glitchy as fuck. HOLY FUCK

Coinbase even got rid of telephone service, customer support is all done through service tickets online, it's totally fucked.

For Binance you’ll have to use a VPN (try to limit it to one IP, they scan periodically to check and see if you are using multiple foreign IPs) or you can is Binance.US (same service but less crypto options), Kucoin is my favorite because they have a lot of variety for an american exchange

yeah it's new. I have literally thousands of trades for 2020, this is a massive pain in the ass. They have failed to fix a glitch where the headers in the csv file coinbase generates are unreadable by turbotax. Its a common problem. Then the solution is to use their expensive software from cointracker to format the file. They are price gauging and providing shit service at every turn.
