>live off the passive income while leaving enough gains in to offset inflation

Is this a realistic long term scenario to achieve eternal neetdom? Could you live happily ever after like this and support a family? What would you change?

I had $200k in an account with a 200k usd per year income. I was just going to work and keep saving up in Vanguard stock index and retire when I had around $2 million. But then I got married and I cucked to my wife's desires and she wanted a $900k home, so I bought that. Something good did happen though, my ex that ditched me in college to monkey branch to an upgrade tried to rekindle things with me. I'd go to dealerships, pot lots and peoples homes, fix their bumpers, doors of their cars etc on the spot, could do about 6 panels in a day charging 250-400 per panel depending on the damage, and I grew up in a bodyshop so I know how to paint and buff a panel and make it look like the car never had damage so dealerships fucking loved me.

If "making it" just means living a comfy lifestyle and not having to wagecuck, then sure you don't need that much money if you leave the west. However I'm an arrested development introverted NEET, I wouldn't have the courage to pull the trigger, cash out to inflationary jew bucks and move to another country. So many things could go wrong, I need more capital to lube up the transition and ironically have a plan B of staying in my own decaying and degenerate western country. To do that I need a few million, unless I want to be a van man, which is also actually a valid choice in Clown World.
