My honest opinion as someone who has decided to never buy any of it, is that it's just nothing special.
15 second blocks? Do we care? There are projects that have 1 second blocks if that's such a big deal. But faster blocks means lower per-block security, so it's all kind of the same.
TPS are cool but Digibyte only looks good compared to BTC. Again another thing that an investor would just find a better project for.
5 mining algorithms is bad. That means 5 more ways for some shit code or 10000 IQ chip designer to ruin your economic model.
The only time difficulty adjustment has ever really mattered was after a mining attack.
Ok $0.001 fees are awesome, but low fees are usually just because jack shit is going on. BTC would be $0.001 fees too if the blocks were empty.
I just hate these projects that tape a bunch of crap together and tweak some params and that's their selling point. It's going to take WAY MORE than some more efficient/friendly tweaks to shake BTC. Fuck I hate Nano but at least they tried with an actually novel idea.
Anyways, you'll probably not make much money, just buy btc or some alt people are excited about at least.
