Your first paragraph was confusing so not sure what you were trying to say there.

My goals are

Enough for me to have a nice home and never wage again
>8 digits
Enough that what applies to me also applies to my family.

So in essence yes I need to reach 7 digits to at least be able to make serious moves. After all if you invest in something you're positive will go up 50% in 1 year, then the more money you have the quicker you can accomplish your long term hold

$500 gain, not really impressive maybe a week or two of waging but it took a year of holding to make that

>$1,000,000 becomes $1,500,000
$500,000 gain, very inpressive more than a decade of waging using median individual income but all in 1 years time just by holding

That is why I must multiply my networth quickly so that I can reduce risk afterwards and still net sizeable amount to help my family. Plus since I dont have to worry about waging I'd be able to scope out good stocks a lot better
