28961422 No.28961422 [Reply] [Original]

Looking to diversify my portfolio a bit. I already have the BTC killer. Now to decide between Iota, Avax, Hbar, Tezos, etc.

What crypto can overtake ETH, and what advantages/disadvantages does it have?

BNB. Binance Smart Chain eliminates the ETH fees to basically nothing. Its growth as been mad.

Isn't Matic just a second layer, akin to Lightning network? Isn't Polkadot doing the same thing? Additionally, won't these second layers have to eat the initial gas fee for transferring your assets off chain, such as how it was handled with the Avax bridge?

I kind of like Iota, regardless of the problems the company has had, simply due to it being lightning fast and economical at layer one. Hbar I appreciate similarly, but it is way too centralized and has horrible tokenomics.

What the fuck. With that much money you should put at least 50% into large caps like BTC, ETH and LTC. They will give you an easy and safe 5-10x which is enough to make it.

Grab a suicide bag of Hathor while it's only at 100ish mil MC and only on Kucoin. It should very safely do a x5 and more throughout the year from current price, but shit's gonna get real as soon as it gets listed on more exchanges. I'm not saying it will kill ETH/dot, but it is currently undervalued for an "eth killer"
Grab a bag and forget about it until EOY

Care to explain the tech? How can it solve the scaling issue, and can it do so while maintaining decentralization? What are the tokenomics like (total supply distributed, inflation, amount kept for devs, was there an ico, if so at what price, etc.)

I appreciate the help with this. Know well whichever project has my backing will not get a small pump.

It uses a hybrid mining style of BTC and eth so both miner can mine Hathor. It is a "eth killer" and not a shitcoin. Again whether it will take on the big boys remains a question but it will definitely only get bigger and should have no problem finding its way to the top 50/100 eventually

I still like the coin and tech, but corrections are healthy and to be expected, especially when there is accompanying news to assist

ETC. Unironically.
After the day of the stake, ETH will lose its security and decentralization benefits. There will be a gradual exodus, but ETC will be the only player left that's both programmable and proof of work. The long game always wins.

Absolutely pathetic, isn't it.

Nano, baka.

OP, you don't need to "diversify", you need to FLIP to all in something that will keep moving.

When you diversify, that's when your gains stop and the pain begins.

It's like you're on a train going in the right direction, then you should get off that train and wait for the next one to go the next leg.

When you "diversify" you are splitting up all your luggage onto multiple trains and sending them in different directions. What hope have you of reaching the destination with all your gear intact?
