It'll crash. Institutions are "piling in" with play money and they'll likely try to reach a point where they can manipulate a crash before truly investing in BTC.
For comparison, institutions own 122% of the 67 Million GameStop shares at an average of $20 per share. That's fucking GameStop. No institution is investing huge sums of money and actively trying to control the marketcap of BTC. A lot of Bitcoin's buy pressure is simply from retail investors buying fractionals shares at higher and higher prices. That is what drives volume, and that is what will be the crash catalyst when it dries up.
