Well right now as I didn't do anything yet, the tokens are currently held on my browser metamask wallet.

It's weird because all the instructions I've seen say you must create the account first (as you are forced to do on first time using metamask) then associate the hardware device with the browser wallet but still the original seed words are a back door.

For me that's the key benefit of the hardware device. The seeds only ever visible on the device itself and never on a computer screen.

Maybe I have this all wrong, let me look into it. Am going to see if I can get metamask to see my other Ledger-supported tokens like LINK.
