>$1.4 million
>7 figures, but still not enough to quit my job
God, waiting around for this bullrun to really take off is excruciating. I know I'll probably get to retire some time this year, but I don't know how long it's going to be and it feels like its never going to happen. I can't possible get the thing I've been dreaming about almost every day for years.
I just need to break $3 million. That's enough to where, even after tax, I'll be able to live very comfortably off boomer stocks forever without touching my principle even if we have a few bad years. That's just a bit more than a 2x. How much fucking longer do I have to wait if I'm in btc, link, and rsr? I want to start my real life

How much can you get yearly with 3m investment?

You’re literally me but I have like 1.2m

>> No.28887400

Its more than enough to quit your job. Just make sure most of your money is in BTC, ETH, LTC and other good coins and wait until you you are over 5 million. Then slowly start selling, pay your taxes. Now invest into boomer stocks but also keep some money in crypto, especially on the big ones.

>> No.28887618

You sound like someone who doesn't understand that 6 and 7 figure swing trading gets reaped by exchanges that use their own order books against you. You'd be front run and bled if you were big enough to be worth their while. There's a reason larger holdings are almost in BTC and ETH where you can OTC them once your targets are hit.

Yeah, and what happens when the FED decides to regulate and crack down BTC. You don't cash out in BTC anon, not while the fiat cartel is still overwhelmingly in power, you return to the source: gold.

that's enough to quit your job. you probably just don't have any motivation i guess. it's probably a weird feeling to quit your job knowing that you'll now have to depend on a different form of income.. not only that, but you'll have to budget yourself and also put money aside for taxes. 1.4 million is plenty, but be mindful of what you're doing before you lose all your gains.

>> No.28890475

I started with $1000.
>>28888543
active trading is work, and high risk work. So is starting a business, being an independent contractor, etc... I'm looking for consistent passive gains so I never have to think about money ever again. After tax $1.4 million is about $100k/year based on average S&P500 returns, but $40k/year based on the conservative 4% APY financial planners will tell you to use, which tries to take into account the possibility of recession, inflation, etc... which could lead to you having to weather a few years, or might make that $100k go a lot less far.
That's why I need $3 million before I quit. Its enough money to not have to worry about anything ever again so long as I put it in boomer stocks and dont go on crazying spending binges. Plus, if you break $3 million you can get into your bank's high net worth program which will get you your own private banker who will manage your investments for you. It's about buying peace of mind.
Even if I wanted to risk a $1MM retirement, I can't retire yet knowing crypto is well below peak and I need an income stream until I cash out. It'd be different if I already had fuck you money. The difference between $10 million and $100 million is really just an extra zero and a private jet. But right now I only have "get by living somewhat comfortably as long as the economy doesn't crash, and manage all my own investments" money
