Literally, unequivocally and Unironically nothing. No smart contracts. No dapps. Nothing. It’s as useful as Dogecoin.

So it's already top 5 coin without smart contracts yet. What do you think will happen once it's fully functional?

What does ETH do?

Let's you get access to rugpulls for $100.

Ethereum 2.0 is vaporware.

Literally just came up with it to stop the exodus to Cardano.

You could buy it right now and it will definitely still go up, dumps usually happen on Sundays and pumps usually late Monday, or on Thursdays. That's what I've observed over the years for most coins.

Fiat ramps are closed during the weekend and
fresh new money enters the markets on Mondays.

It's legacy boomer banking technology created in the 70s and only working on business days (Mon-Fri). A lot of banks still function this way. I'm not saying you can't make transfers on the weekend but for a lot people using traditional banks that's what happens. If I make a transfer on late Friday, it will only be transferred on Monday morning.

>The inter-bank payment clearing system does not operate over the weekend or on public holidays. Hence any inter-bank payment logged during those times will be processed on the next business day. Intra-bank transfers will typically be processed immediately, regardles of the day of the week.

I dont think its possible to have a decentralized network that has low fees and is fast period.
Whatever they come up with will probably be a centralized solution hybrid ir sonething.

The speed and cost of system depends of the power of its servers or miners.
If its proof of stake it will depend on the computing power of the nodes...hmmm

Haskell by nature is purely functional, meaning no side effects should occur inside the code. (ofc this can be altered by the devs, but that's also a strong no-no to do so)
It's much more suited to implement complex mathematical structures like blockchains than fast but insecure languages like C++, that SHOULD result in less errors (and I mean orders of magnitude less just by its nature)
The code is easier to test, because it corelates much better to the mathematical formal representations that are implemented.

The con is that very good functional programming devs are much harder to find nowadays.
