no, it's supposed to be put into an index fund to increase arbitrage opportunities by burning 1% of each transaction involving it thus creating positive price pressure. We've had a lot of sells these last past days and not as many buys, and yet the price has held stable at 10c in big part due to the balancer pool buying statera. It won't "moon" by itself that was never a premise, but the price will tend to go upwards as long as the demand stays at least the same given the diminishing supply. Also the average APY of the main pool has been around 30% these past couple of weeks despite statera having a volume of <200k so the concept is clearly working despite what you read on biz.
