I'm going all in on one of the following ($3.5k), then not thinking about crypto for the next two years (when I graduate). Which should I choose and why?

Simple: PNK, after the defi boom, the next boom will be decentralised organizations. Kleros is the base layer for that. Similar to link and defi

I would say GRT or PRQ. They both seem like the best investment to x100. Link might be a safer bet but not as much gains. Not sure about the others. DYOR and don’t listen to shills or FUDs.

Algo or LTO. Both have staking, both have real uses, neither have mooned. Being undervalued with staking makes them the perfect long holds.

ETH is such a broken concept and will surely be eaten if they don’t figure their shit out. Nobody looks at gas fees and says “yeah that’s fine”. You’ve got multiple projects chomping at the bits to replace and I think it’s only a matter of time until one does.

>unironically ONE

XMR
unironically because it's use case is better than BTC. The only thing holding it back is the name recognition. But if you believe in something like that then investing in other shitcoins is just as useless.

>> No.28821350

>>28820848
Your presumption is that it will 100% raise from this moment, soon. Not eventually, right now. Gradual investments over time give you the opportunity to buy dips and mitigate how much rope you think you can swap for if the market bottoms out for awhile

It also accepts the potential for lost gains. It’s a gamble on a certainty. Yeah the market might go down, but it also might not. The only way dca is profitable or preferable is if you’re planning on large sum buys over X periods where dips are more profitable than just small sum buys of ~500.

BTC is going to go up. BTC is going to hold value. Forever. Why gamble on a Freeze when you can just buy the freezer?

DCA is more about time in the market > timing the market. The idea of it is more about just getting as much principle in as you can by continually adding on a regular basis (and not trying to time the market). I don't really think it applies if you already have a lump sum, although FOMO'ing into an ATH can definitely be risky.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely agree with you, but when the amount that you’re going to dump is predetermined and the entity/product you are purchasing is established and due to rise, dca’ing just doesn’t make sense to me unless you’re speculating that the dips > ath’s in either frequency or magnitude, you know?
