regardless of the annoying ass pasta I keep seeing, I actually like this coin. the fucking burning btc shit didn’t make sense to me at first, but it does seem logical now. It’s necessary for the bridge and although not directly reversible, you can just buy it back by converting vBTC if you want for some reason. How absolutly dare you sirs?Its pegged to the underlying asset that crossed the bridge, in this case BTC, more bridges coming soon.
Those BTC are good and valueable, but they cant keep up with the DeFi revolution happening right now, they just lay around in a wallet, doing absolutly nothing, no NFT´s no single asset staking, no nothing.
To bring BTC into the modern world, it needs to bridge the gap to fullfill its potential. The rising buy ins from institutions into BTC just mark the first step, these institutions are looking into NFT´s and DeFi right now, this protocol will help to make that transition and will have a higher value than now, thanks to the rising DeFi tide in general, and its value proposition specifically.
