Pissed off 30 year old wagie here. I have two grand USD to spend and other than buying 50 oz of physical silver 3 weeks ago (and still holding 5 shares of GME), I've never in my life invested in anything meaningful for my future. I've been lurking here since GME got memed into stardom (like the retarded neo boomer I am) and I've made a list of alt coins I think I might divvy my measly savings into.

I think I'm covering the big players or up and coming ones, but if anyone wants to shill some more that idk about then I'll take that into consideration. I need to learn more about exchanges and wallets for now. If anyone wants to spoon feed a retard I'm all ears.

I’m all in on ALGO, and considering it didn’t make your list, I’ll take that as .. good news?

Put 1,000 in the graph and put 1,000 in loop ring. You're welcome

Way too diversified.
With 2k I would hold one or two only.
Probably GRT and ID or LINK. Something that will move up mid term and something that will move up short term.
You could chase pumps but with 2k only, fees will eat you alive and one or two mistakes and you're out.

Top picks. I like INJ for the short term with mainnet launch coming soon and the general performance of DEXes, but ALGO is inevitable in the 2-3 year outlook and LTO seems to be building steam also.

Also to add. Gas fees make it so that diversifying like that with your amount isn't feasible. DCA in and get a bigger base to work with. Don't swing and just hold onto fundamentals. Vast majority of swingers lose money compared to just holding because it requires a ton of knowledge, experience, and TA to be able to swing consistently (not to mention it's practically a part time job)

I would maybe narrow it down to 2 altcoins initally, then DCA into 2-3 that are on a CEX (no gas fees).

Nowhere near long enough. I've been here for 5 years and never started a thread.

Split the two grand into 2 investments tops.
Out of your list the best ones IMO are GRT, HBAR and RBC, mostly for liquidity and the fact that they are at worst medium term to see some decent ROI, if you're thinking long term ADA staking is pretty good.

I haven't seen much on these, but it's more likely that I'm just new and not lurking here enough (need to leave /pol/ because it's just bots keeping me poor, yet entertained). Also would you say it's not worth it to throw even just 100 bucks into the unadvised coins to scratch that FOMO itch? Is there anywhere with a TLDR version of white papers that will entice me to learn more about each coin

I think I'm way too diversified as well, but I'm still adding and subtracting from my stack as I learn more. I guess I didn't even think about fee's. I know HBAR is one I'd feel the most confidence in dumping everything I have into it from what I've read, but from what I know it won't move much that soon and it's something I'd want to hold on for a very looong time because it's value seems like it will hold whatever ground it takes even when I'm an old man. it'd be nice to get a quick 10x and diversify that, but that's what everybody wants and I'm too dumb and gullible to act appropriately.

HBAR seems like the best long hold, but I also understand that I'm a newfag that's probably getting easily swooned by the sweet nothings of some filthy pajeet.

Don't buy 8 different coins anon, that's too much to stay on top of.

Get GRT and ADA. Add one between ALGO, XTZ and ATOM for the staking. Over time turn it into BTC / ETH

Legit $TRDL. You have to gamble on low caps till you get to 6 figs. Make it or die trying.
