How much of these 5+ Year long dormant addresses would you say are completely lost forever ie: just random dead tech guy boomers whose seed and passphrase got lost with them?

Is this not a legitimate concern for crypto? Eventually there will be more coins lost forever than coins in circulation due to people dying or losing their info.

Half.

Imagine having $4 billion in Bitcoin sitting on a hardware wallet but you lost the password and the recovery key

It seems they would be lost, I mean, one would expect some of these people to have at least sold off even just maybe a few.

Unless theyve always been super rich from back 5+ years ago and dont care about, seems unlikely though. Not ever taking profit when you hold so much, even if you think your 10,000 BTC will be $1,000,000/coin in a few years time, it seems stupid not to sell at least sell some now to take profit and invest elsewhere...while still keeping 80-90% of your coins.

All of these guys are probably pedos currently in prison for selling CP on the darkweb, when they get released at the end of the bullrun they will be trillionaires with more power and influence than Bezos or Gates

Thank these heros, without them forgetting their keys we'd never be where we are today.

Kind of but it drives the price up.
