Asked my accountant about doing taxes this year and mentioned if he knew how to file for gains from crypto.
Went fucking mad about investing in it and said i'm a fool for doing so.
Told him I did not ask for your opinion I asked if you could do it.
Said he couldn't and would not give me anyone he knew who could.

So looking for a new accountant.

You should never trust another person to know your finances. Always do it yourself. The worst thing that could happen is you end up paying back taxes. Unless the IRS thinks you have maliciously attempted to not pay.
