Lots of people waiting for cheap BTC = lots of people who will just bid up the price when any sign of falling begins

The longer it maintains near $50k the higher people move up in tiers of prices they're willing to pay. Right now you might have 90% of people in the $5-10k range, but as it holds near $50k for months and months, the people waiting in the $5-10k range will begin moving up to $15-20k, then $25-30k, then $35-40k, until theyre finally willing to just say "fuck it" and bid at $50k and begin pushing the price up.
