I have developed and back tested an algo that gives btc/usd trade alerts for going Long/Short, it has a 97% winning rate and it is mainly for intraday swing trading.

How do I profit off of this? how would i go about selling the algo's signals to other traders for money? as a subscription service? I skip out on meals to save money and cant afford to trade at this moment in my life, any fren have any ideas?

Have you incorporated transaction costs and slippage?

What about taxes?

Imagine the grin on the accountants face when he sees you have 1000s of taxable transaction events

Well the transaction cost is a fee which is either fixed it a percentage of the transaction.

Google slippage and backtesting algo trading.
Incorporate transaction cost (fixed or %) and slippage and see if it's still profitable.

Also try training it on prior data and withholding the most recent 1-2 years of returns data then running the model trained on earlier date on the most recent, previously withheld data.

Do you pay tax on every single transaction in the US? In Germany we need to provide transaction logs, but only the profit that you cash out is taxed, If I read correctly.

Use it to trade.
Create a telegram group for signals.
Sell a membership subscription.

Also, you might be aware of it already, but a little advice from a fellow algorithm developer. You need to run the check again with your contribution factored in when you manipulate your own source data. Stocks are like infinite pendulums stacked upon another so depending on the investment size the bot makes it will change its own outcome.

Did you only backtest it or test it live? Because live it will perform much different, for one your trades affect the market.
