Love this project, for the bros deep in Statera. I have a few questions.
1. This is truly decentralized correct? Meaning the contract is live it's working and there is no further development or control from the team? Can someone confirm and maybe explain this to me?

2. If a project is launched and it's working, in GitHub it does not need to be busy or people working on the background?

the contract is complete and immutable. there is a team, but they work on the website, the pools, additional functions like wsta
as the contract is immutable, there will be no further github activity, the coin is complete
the burn will eventually lower the supply and raise the price, but thats not the point. the point is to constantly change the price, making pools that contain sta constantly have to buy and sell based on the changing supply, this is what makes sta so special.

I love statera & will probably keep a stack for the memes, but I don't have any confidence in it short term anymore. There are too many other exciting defi projects, & my experience of the pools has been that they are nothing special boardering on not working as intended. What did it for me though, was this guy
