How do you deal with being right?

>told a friend to invest in LINK at $1, literally fucking told him “dude put $4k into this thing, it literally nothing compared to your whole working life and you’ll be able to pay for law school”

As I type this he would have made $100k+ unironically enough for fucking law school.
He now took out private loans for grad schools in something that not even law...

I think you 'deal' with it by never telling anyone about your crypto gains

Depends. How much do you have? If a suicide or make it stack
>take him out for a nice dinner
>”told you so, please listen next time”
>drop it until next time

sometimes people get weird with money when you start making it. its best to not talk about it with most people. you gave your friend 1 chance, he didn't take it. best to be quiet about it just in case he gets super jealous.

I just stopped talking to people, usually because they either 1) won’t even acknowledge you told them or 2) they get petty and shitty about stuff.

I talk here now basically.

I’ve called every mover except AAVE over the last year just shitposting and listening to retards on this board.

Told people IRL about LINK at .70 cents. Told them to just buy up to $5 and they’ll never have to work again. Called GRT told people about it at .40. Called AVAX at $4.

I could tell people about Everest at .80 but I just have no willpower to talk for no purpose.

Basically /biz/ has been my only real friend for some time and I love all you shitty autists.

this^. the problem with crypto is it can come and go rapidly. literally you can have 50k today, 500k tommorow, and 5k the next day, if you don't cash out lol.

This is also accurate. I’ve held through huge retracements and volatility. If any of your normo friends had information or bought and then weak handed sold at a loss they’d be shitty about it eternally.

Anon advising people to buy link at $1 was risky af. What if it would dump to $0,3 afterwards, normies cant handle that kind of shit and he would sell with a loss. Now he would blame you for the shitty investment and resent when you made it.

My advice to EVERYONE is to keep quiet that you hold crypto. Never advice people what they should buy, if you want to talk about crypto just say project X is interesting from a technical standpoint but I don't hold tokens. Let them do their own research.

I offered to buy link on behalf of my cousin and he could pay me back in the future when it moons. This was when link was $2 and he told me that nah crypto is a scam his friend lost a lot of money etc. Two weeks back he gives me a call again asking about crypto lol

Don't tell your friends to invest in specific shit until they've got their head in the game and are actively looking to invest themselves. You can encourage them to get to that point but never get specific picks until you know they're serious. Why? Because if it dips down they will rage at you, but if it goes up you probably won't receive much praise.
Also: Imagine you told a friend to buy BTC at $100 but he doesn't do it, and 5 years later he is broke, miserable, and depressed, and the only thing he can think of at that point is "I would have been rich if I just did that one thing" -- it will dwell on his mind for the rest of his life, like a curse. Be careful.
