Oh I know but I've never heard anything but anyone say "oh it must have been your fault"
Try being 21 watching your father die rapidly month after being fine and running his own business.

Stop your life wrap up his business, watch him die, try to tackle inheritence, a widowed mother, a family who won't help, friends who go AWOL, Lawyers trying to sue other lawyers while saying "Sorry you can't use your own money to pay for your house, you should just sell it!"

While you worked your entire childhood for an elderly father's business on the promise of inheriting a property, that your immediately fighting for.

I spent a year fighting for that fucker at 21 and managing all that and still lost due to lawyers fuckery which later found out wasn't legal but "Oops oh well to bad so sad wanna sue the lawyers?"

Good fucking luck they are all literally friends and were chasing a mineral rights inheritence I got, wanted to watch me break and sell it to them which I didn't I lost my home instead.

Meanwhile now early 30's and sicker than fuck because my life's been a total rollercoaster that nobody believes.

Now that I have enough knowledge, and can see there’s no point hoping for others to save this rigged system, I am rekindling the old Polish positivist movement, where oppressed Poles realized they can’t win against the partitioning powers via insurrection so they started accumulating capital and build up the country. Yeah, my brother is mentally unstable, I always told my parents to make a will themselves in order to protect me in case of accident. Of course being boomers they didn't. I tell everyone around me to take this example as why everyone needs to prepare inheritance by making a will while you're living. My parent's boomer friends say "yeah I can see that you're right" but I now they aren't going to make one.

When my Grandpa passed away, there were a series of letter in his desk. It was all the paperwork taken care of in case of passing away, it even had stamps and the adress on it. Home is not a house, OP.
It's much more than this. I had to come a long way to realize this. Home is where you were born, and you can't deny it. It's your family, your neighbors, it's the goddamn food you eat (assuming OP is not from burgerland). There is a place you are supposed to be, Anon. Home is the culture you were born into.

You can discover different cultures, you can resonate with other people and their way of living but trust me, having such a house with a pool and a decent view of the sea won't feel like home unless you were born in that area. If you move there, you will be a stranger. My bet is that living in such a house, thousands of miles away from your birthplace, surely it would feel extraordinary and fancy and everything, but for how long would that feeling last before it gets replaced by a feeling of strange isolation?

Pic related is a comfy house of my culture where I could feel at home.

Not true. I used to live in OC in a decently large house with a pool, then moved to the mountains in the show and it's a lot comfier. I find the congested feel of socal nauseating now. You can learn to love new locations. Or maybe it's socal has turned to shit with ridiculous cost of living, rampant illegals and homelessness which made me become disillusioned. And in the US you feel rootless anyway especially in my case as a child to european immigrants

I disagree. My people and family gave me mostly pain, lies and disrespect. I don’t hate them but I want nothing to do with them and the broken, infected thing masquerading as our culture of a bygone era. My physical home looks nothing like it used to, nothing is recognizable where I lived anymore.
I want something new, something I can share with people who hold my ideals rather than npcs who own the same passport. This world desperately needs a major realignment. 200 years ago I’d probably go to America and settle in one of countless diverse (culturally) settlements. Now we have nowhere to go and our homelands are placeholders for globalists to subvert and destroy. There’s nothing based in maintaining delusions that things will continue to be the same when every year degeneracy and brainwashing twists every aspect of our former homes. Home is where you make it home.

Not quite a dream house, but that's what I've already built with my mom. She is old now, and we used to live in a house even water supply and centralized sewerage.. had to go 200 meters with buckets to get some water, so we decided to build her a house. Live in another city now, stuck with house debt and 150$ left for food every month, but, even with a 4-year struggle, that was worth it! Moms happy now.
I wanted to make this house somewhat Fachwerk like, but no money was left for decorations. 160m2, she loves it, and so do I.
Maybe in 15-20 years or earlier, if I make it, will build a house for myself too

Idk if that counts for a dream house, but mom was dreaming about one so here my story is

my dream home is a small 2 br with a barn, deck and jacuzzi on a lot of waterfront land I already bought about 8 years ago an hour away from my home city. that's as close as I can imagine I get to paradise. my family, my kids and friends are everything to me, and while I hate city life after being raised in it, I certainly don't want to be a foreigner or a tourist when I retire. Well fuck I was following along until
> Meanwhile now early 30's and sicker than fuck because my life's been a total rollercoaster that nobody believes.

What the fuck man? You're sick because of some shit that happened ten years ago with lawyers? Give me a fucking break. That's fucking weak. My mother was a meth addict and pawned me off on a jew who claimed to be my father and then took all my money for a piece of property on a handshake deal and then had the fucking balls to hire a lawyer and tell me that he changed his mind.

I lost everything I had worked for. It fucking sucked. My life is, in many ways, far worse than it would have been if that had not happened. The gains I could have had if I didn't have to pay a lawyer to defend myself are sometimes soul crushing.

I don't blame my problems on that though, because if I did, I would permanently consign myself to defeat. If the only cause of my shit is historical incidents I can't change, well I'm fucked. And that's how you sound. You're not fucked buddy. You have the fucking world in your hands. You can still fucking do everything. God damnit. Honor your ancestors and stop being such a defeatist. You will lift some fucking weights and eat some good food and get some good sleep tonight, and you're going to at least hold your own life in your hands instead of the past.
