The most basic math is this:
QQQ goes down 10% then goes up 10%. It goes from 100 to 90 then to 99.
TQQQ would go down 30% and then up 30%. It goes from 100 to 70 then to 91. A difference of 8%.
The fundamental issue is that losses costs more than gains recover. If you lose 50% you need 100% up to cover, but if you lose 10% you only need 11% up to cover the loss.

Fewest disengagements per miles driven. TSLA didn't even register with the disengagement reports in CA because they only have level 2 FSD which (a) is a step up from glorified cruise control and (b) shields them from liability if their systems fail.
They are losing market share to VW (being surpassed in EU deliveries there). Will lose market space in the US from Ford, GM, and Audi. The china market is the last hail mary.

Elon knows how to identify a real market need, and then run and promote a company building a product to answer it. The math of EVs is works against profitability, but honestly he's done an amazing job getting it as far as he has, especially when we've seen so many established automakers completely fumbling what should have been relatively easy for them.
