Started in August 2020. Literally bought the Chainlink top. The next six months were miserable as Bitcoin and Ethereum mooned. They were only 15% and 10% of my portfolio. The rest was in Chainlink and it bled profusely. Still never sold. I'm at $250k now.

I've managed to go from nothing to 20k thanks to UNI and GRT, but I dont know where to go from here.

I'm sitting tethered up trying to figure the next project to give me a decent 2x or more, would love to hit 6 fig by end of bullrun.

in 2017 everything shilled here that was top 100 mooned like crazy, low caps were seen as too risky so biz was mainly into the top 100 coins. Now biz is all over the micro and low caps like its the only way of making it, the blue chips is where you park your gains. There are simply too many shitcoins, pick the wrong lowcap and you're fucked. Im sticking with bluechips for now, i'd rather exit with a measly 5-10x this bull and wait for the bear than risk it all on lowcaps, even though that is the name of the game now

Now this sounds like a thread for me.
I mined many 2013 shitcoins. Did not invest any fiat. Kept wallets on backup. Did not pay attention after 2014 crash.

fast forward to 2017, mostly DOGE and LTC were worth something from those I mined, flipped them to too many shitcoins which are now totally worthless. Invested few hundred in scam ICOs like LALA World and Envion. Basically absorbed every single shitcoin /biz/ shilled and heavily overdiversified. Did not sell the top, got very discouraged and again did not pay attention for years holding now ~ 50 shitcoins.

forward to summer 2020. out of boredom checked portfolio and witnessed LINK gains and regained interest. since then I'm putting all my experience from previous two runs, absorbing all the new information about stock to flow, rhodl, risk management, profit taking etc. Instantly can recognize scam shills. Getting rid slowly of ancient shitcoins who are moving again currently and trying to consolidate. So far I'm 5x up since August, mostly thanks to buying ADA and POLS. Things are looking good but damn I could have had millions already if I was not that dumb in previous cycles.

Entered may/june 2020 - Missed this bull run mostly because of emotional investing and going all in on a shitcoin and holding through everything. Couldn’t hold solid bets (would have 10x my initial) - biggest mistake was not listening to stacking 90% btc/eth/link - 10% to shitcoins and swinging them to increase main stack. Instead I went all in on a shitcoin and I’ve done a 1.5x although i could cover my initial with my now tiny eth stack.

I don't know much about current state of mining. 2013 was interesting if you figured out how to mine on your gpu, nothing advanced yet like ASICs etc. In 2017 I mined only two I think, Turtlecoin and Garlicoin, who are still worthless atm.
