Best tech:
>Feeless
>Fast (10s)
>Scalable (1000 tps without sharding)
>Data AND value transactions IN ONE
>Fixed supply since day 1
>Scalable smart contracts
>Tokenized assets (=NFTs)
>Oracles
>Identity
>Encrypted data streams (with paid subscriptions)
>Access control (you define policies ie payment or identity)

Best ecosystem:
>IOTA foundation 120+ full time employees
>Big academic partners (ie University Vienna, RWTH Aachen, etc)
>Big industry partners: BOSCH, INTEL, DELL, Jaguar Landrover, Renault, ST Microelectronics, Zebra, Mastercard, many more
>Big government partners: Germany, EU, Norway, Japan, Canada, Taiwan, many more
>300+ patent mentions, many IOTA exclusive

Upcoming updates:
Q1: Chrysalis mainnet update -> makes IOTA productions ready
Q2: Tokenized assets suit (for devs already doable)
Q3: Smart contract full release (alpha already out)
Q4: Coordicide (makes IOTA fully decentralized with completly new consensus algorithm -> MANA)

Miss this train and you will rope until the end of your life I swear to god

I've actually been lazy about shilling IOTA lately because there is just too much info coming out and I am a perfectionist. Mastercard, bank partnerships confirmed, dozens of enterprises waiting for Chrysalis, Southbank investment, Dell, Renault, there is just too fucking much

This is just such an obvious pump anons I love it.

>Constant good news
>Chrysalis coming right up
>Absolutely never ending partnerships

Combine all this with the fact this coin is not being shilled at a high level YET. Strong fucking buy. I've liquidated 80% of my btc to buy this yesterday.

Another way of looking at adoption is through filed patents. End of 2020 Mastercard filed an IOTA-exclusive patent about its use for feeless payment. Mastercard also said it will start crypto business this year.

RELEASE NEXT MONTH: New IOTA wallet Firefly will be most secure and most versatile wallet up in the whole crypto space

>> No.28642640

Looking to invest, doing my own research, but I have some initial questions. The Tangle seems fundamentally less secure than the blockchain. I've read up on past attacks and past concerns about this. Additionally, the Iota developers appear to have made extremely questionable decisions in their code in the past. Have things improved since the rough period of the 2017?

>> No.28642757

bro I'm into IOTA as well and I believe in it but the way you're spreading this info every day feels a bit automatic and void of justification. Remember the team doesn't want unnecessary shilling, or you might have the same outcome as a few years ago. Let the tech speak for itself.

>> No.28642896

>>28642640
Absolutely.

Two board memebers, David Sonstebo and CfB have been removed from the foundation. While David and Dom created the project, I think David found it hard to control his visonary style of leadership with concrete facts. This lead to questionable code choices being made, like trinary, because david wanted to do everything at once. CfB was always a wildcard and in the end I don't think he really was good for the project.

But the great thing about iota is it is now a proper bona fide foundation. Which means they no longer are at the whims of the core devs, unlike most projects. They now have a board and senior engineering team that plan these things out.

They have moved from startup to scaleup, as you would say in the software world.

I think iota needs to have these sorts of posts, becuse it had such bad press for years. There are thousands of people out there who have dismissed iota and have never checked back in to see it's current state. We do need these posts.

The network itself was never hacked, only a wallet one year ago. Code is all public on Github and gets external security audits before release. Chrysalis security audit is almost done, mainnet update Q1 imminent.

It's bizzare isn't it anon. This is truly the next generation. We don't need side chains or flash channels or lattice blockchains. They are irrelevant. We need infinite scalability through sharded graphs. I can barely even comprehend the scale of all this.
