Even with high gas fees... This is pretty game changing dex technology moving forward. Rubic is attempting to bring all of the same functionality from a CEX, but where the user owns their own keys (dex). Their short term L2 will use matic chain for low fees and users will swap on matic.... But in the future, Rubic will have their own layer with low fees so that they do not depend on matic listing tokens. Rubic will be in full control of the tokens available to swap for users. There is no way around the eth gas fee so you will need to pay the fee once to get your eth to the L2 platform, but once there, you will never pay again for fees to get the token of your choice. When "cashing" out back to eth, you will pay the eth fee because ETH is shitty. This is true for ANY L2 solution. When this is all implemented... Crypto trading will truly be revolutionary where no KYC is required. I don't think people realize this yet. Rubic is already on a big head start and will be even better when they rework the UI. Not to mention, they will be reaching out to multiple CEX's EOM as well so expect a March listing. Don't let the FUD get to you... Rubic is not a project you should be investing in long term. Reasons:

1. Market cap: $30M !!! For a swap exchange that has a really shitty UX and product, cannot be even compared with 1inch (used by Rubic primarily and has stellar product with $172m market cap and 8b monthly volume). With 98.4m circulating supply, reaching $10 is not possible in a gazillion years looking at this shitty product.

2. Usecase: Who the fuck wants to swap on Binance chain outside of Binance!? Also why the fuck would I use Rubic when I can easily get the best prices on 1inch, Uni or Metamask swap?!

3. Contant shilling: Pajeets scamming this board with stolen link memes just waiting for you poorfags to pump the price so that they can dump on you!

That being said, yes the constant shilling on biz might pump the price a bit maybe but this is never a safe long term hold, because either you might get rugpulled or whales might dump hard and the price would never recover and you would be holding these coins forever.
