Why aren't there any crypto bears that think it's worth nothing? Only thing I could find was like Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger and a few other boomers. CNBC just has bulls on, 4chan is just bulls, reddit is just bulls, twitter is just bulls, seems like banks and companies are even looking at it...

I mean nobody is skeptical of this stuff?

I'm not really arguing that one thing is better than another, just find it strange that i can't find much negative information about crypto anymore. I mean the talking heads have people on giving giant price targets, many here are all in on some coin I've never even heard of, etc.

the internet is more centralized than its ever been. Think about it, a small handful of tech companies(FAGMAN) control pretty much the entire internet. If you piss any one of them off for any reason they can simply erase you as if you never existed. Crypto/dapps/and defi are a disruptive force that can help fight against that monopoly and further democratize the internet.

I'm fascinated by Blockchain. It's a very effective way of transmitting money and you can do it anonymously and all that. Where I'm a bit confused is why a specific crypto would be valuable. I mean when people say why BTC is worth what it is, they talk about Blockchain as though it is the value. A check is a way of transmitting money too. Are checks worth a whole lot of money just because they can transmit money? I hope Bitcoin becomes a better way of doing it but you can replicate it a bunch of different ways. The idea that it has some huge intrinsic value I have to see a better argument than I've been able to find. It's also very suspicious that there aren't any bears!
