Rich Jewish Edition.

>What is Bancor?
Bancor is an on-chain liquidity protocol that enables automated, decentralized exchange on Ethereum and across blockchains. It protects pool users from impermanent loss, and will soon offer a lending and leveraging option with Bancor Vortex.
>How do I make money with Bancor?
You wait for the token price to go up as the total value locked into the protocol goes up, or you stake your tokens in the various pools. This is safe, secure, and a nobrainer if you hold more than 2000 BNT. If your BNT amount is below 2000, it depends on gas prices and how bullish your sentiment is. Yearly rates are upwards of 100% currently. That means even if BNT crabs until Feb 2022, you will double your money.
>What's the catch? Surely there's no way?
The catch is that you'll develop an addiction to refreshing https://app.bancor.network/..

Be honest with me, have you ever had a hold this comfortable before?

Won’t every project that hinges on gas fees fail soon?

>> No.28611951

>>28611854
Bancor is one of the projects testing and implementing Arbitrum. Gas should be 50x cheaper on their network when it comes out.

Also this was just released:

>We can’t share much at this stage, other than we are working on a new pool design that is in the final stages of research, and entering development soon. The design is intended to reduce the complexity of our contracts, which translates to a lessened gas burden for users. Among other advantages, the design could also support “liquidity amplification” (ultra-low slippage) on our pools and greatly increase the capital efficiency of the system.

Very nice anon. You'll be a king.
>>28611719
I mean yeah you could probably set up a poorfag pool but you'd be at the mercy of king poorfag to not steal your bancies. L2 solution is expected Q2 2021 which will lower fees 50x. Hold onto your bancies nice and cosy until them friend.
>>28611854
This may be a delusional and disconnected take, but the fees are not a big deal at all if your stack is large. They are not acceptable for the greater adoption of the ethereum network obviously, but for enterprise and big bagholders it's hardly more expensive than converting the same amount in fiat to a foreign currency or whatever. Best bet is to wait for gas optimizations and L2 solutions if fees would make a dent into your total holdings at current prices.

Even removing the incentives that keep whales staked instead of dumping on your head, such as the 2x multiplier that you lose for ANY unstake, there's at least another year of liquidity mining. The only way you'll get dumped on, moreso than you would in any other hold, is if XRP suddenly jumps to 2k and becomes the standard, or if Bitcoin crashes to literally sub 1k levels and everyone wants to save their last few shekels.

Existing is taxable here. I don't know why Ameritards make fun of Euros for paying marginally higher taxes for actual benefits

But no, depositing link shouldn't be taxable because you're not trading currencies, just moving it from one place to the other. Now if you changed it from link to bnt and then deposited, yes that is taxable relative to the purchase price of your link.

You get paid in tokens, not in USD. Your total rewards in USD equivalent go up as the token value goes up. All percentages stay the same and only change based on the depth of the pool.
