lets take PRQ as an example.
It used to have a market cap of $1 Million
the supply is - 108,412,187

the math goes like this
$1,000,000/108,412,187 = price $0.009
if the market cap were to be 2million, the price would be $0.018
that's a 2x increase

but a small cap coin is very easy to pump
meaning when prq pumped it didn't just go to 2million it went to 100million = ~$1.00

but if it were to double again it, it would now need another 100million in market cap for the same 100% increase

now look at link
10 BILLION market cap, for a 2x it would need the mcap of 20 Billion..
now what's more likely, for a small cap to get 100milion or for link to get 20billion

that is the reason why so many people like to buy low cap coins, a 10x can happen overnight
