I'm in the same boat OP. Long story short I knew about Link when it was a dollar and wanted to buy in but never did. I've been watching the price since it was $20 waiting to FOMO in. I've been buying small amounts here and there in the dips but I wanted to wait for it to go back into the teens before I threw in a grand. It's been a very hard pattern for me.

The thing is waiting for dips is almost as frustrating as waiting for highs. Once you've bought in and are in for the long-haul (as you should with link, don't sell at even 100$) you're better of, because atleast then you'll know that yeah you might have bought an ath, but it'll still increase past that.
I'd say, for your mental health, just buy in for a reasonable amount, then wait a while and possibly buy more. When you're accumulating at 30$ you're already late to the party, don't make it even worse and jump in at 40$. Just accumulate and in 3 years your 30$ buy-in price will pale in comparison. Remember, you're in link for the long-game.
