could anyone give me a QRD of the whole SEC statement drama over the last 2 days? as i understand it, Alison Herren-Lee (who hasn't even been confirmed yet, correct?) released a statement changing the rules (or saying she intended to change the rules) saying that if the SEC settled a case (such as Ripple's) then they wouldn't also issue a waiver regarding the case/rules in question (for example, digital assets evolving from securities to currencies)

I watched that and DP video about it. That's in part why I'm leaning the way I'm leaning. I know that's not entirely the direction he's going in but based off of some of the things he stated, the SECs release about limiting sales to those that settle, and XRPs suit response, ie they asked for it to be declared a currency, I think that a suit is far more likely.
