It's the uniswap of the BSC chain.
Every coin page on the BSC network points to getting it on pancakeswap. Which is huge for the platform ie it's already become THE defi on BSC.
I guess use of the token? It's used for voting on the website.
I'm speculating in the future there's a possibility that they'll airdrop free tokens too just as uni and 1inch have.
