can i just live off staking rewards and shit? can i get fucked trying to do this?

im holding ftm and it gives 14% a year. im seeing coinbase wallet gives you 14% apy for holding tether and shit in there. i might just ape my entire bank account into crypto if it can just pay my rent every year

that would be beyond good for me.

I'm staking ASKO and am making like $80 per day right now.
Over the course of a month that's legit enough for me to cover my bills and not have to wage.
If the price of ASKO goes up and the trade volume goes up too I might genuinely be making a big chunk of money per day.
Seems too easy.

Interest rates depend on demand for loans. Higher demand for loans is driven by expected price appreciation in the underlying asset loaned against i.e price increase in crypto. In a bull market, by definition investors generally expect price appreciation, this driver demand for loans. Which in turn drives interest rates higher. This is all to show you that interest rates are temporary, once the bear market begins, yield will fall. Don't count on it lasting forever.

As for staking, your return entirely depends on the peice of what your staking. The bull market won't last a full year from now. Take that as you will.

Bought at around 0.15c and locked my coins in the 6 month term
It went down to around 0.6
Now it's recovering but i missed so many moon missions in the meantime because I couldn't move anything out of it
Maybe the locked in time helped me because otherwise I would have sold at the bottom
Block ends in 9 days

I read some time ago that the company added/sold more tokens on purpose so they could take profit
Apparently it was public information that they would do this from time to time to be a profitable company for stakeholders and didn't know
I don't remember the link, sorry
