I’ve been seeing an awful lot of dumbasses saying some really dumb dummy dumbass stuff about Monero (really, crypto in general) so I’m here to set the record straight.

The government will not “ban” Monero for the same reason the didn’t ban Bitcoin and kill the crypto seeds before they sprouted into the willow we have now, Because they literally cannot.

It is not the US governments (or any governments) decision what happens to a DECENTRALIZED ledger any more than it is your own decision.

Could they bring out the jackboots and the boot polish and ban exchanges from trading it? Yes. Could they try to dox, round up and try holders? Yes. Could they go so far as to try and 51% attack the network? Yes.
But if you think any of those measures will have any effect other than attracting more users, holders, miners and devs, turning their efforts against Monero into a public fiasco and Monero itself into an investors sweetheart, I would ask you to take a look at Bitcoins history and the level of bandwagoning we just saw with shit like GME, AMC, DOGE, etc.

Newfags need to fucking Lurk moar.

I wasn’t baiting. Monero hasn’t been relevant since the early days of crypto and anyone who thinks the US federal government would allow Monero to run unabated is retarded. Same logic applies to something like DuckDuckGo or ProtonMail

You're not wrong.

>??????????
Monero won't pump much because it's being actually used. People buy it to sell it for goods and services. One thing many people don't realize is that adoption is bearish for the price, not bullish. For an asset to take off, many buyers need to hold it for a longer time period.
