trading is for retards. It's a zero sum game, so unless you have 9000 IQ or are VERY disciplined in your strategy you're just as likely to be fucked as you are to win. When I say very disciplined, I mean inhuman discipline. I am currently writing a python script to trade for me as that is the only way I have any interest in flipping stocks. I have neither the time nor the inclination to stare at charts, and I don't have the ability to tell which stocks are gonna be winners in the long term. Lads. I'm up up $300k and it's taken 4 years. There's been good times and bad times but my life has been on hold. I love my money it's all I think about, my portfolio makes me happy and green numbers make me feel warm inside.

I know I need to 5x still before I can even consider stopping. Probably more like 10x.

This feels like the worse part, no excitement from gaining 10k in a few hours. Just a slow relentless slog towards a meaningful post million existence.

I can't bring myself to live the passive income life. Every dollar you withdraw could become 2 dollars in a week. I don't know what I would spend my money on if I had it in cash. 95% of my daily happiness comes from managing my shares, buying/selling, crypto as well. Yep. My portfolio has almost hit 300k and I feel the same, however my goals are more modest. Once I hit 1m I'll cash out most of it, buy an old house, renovate it, flip it, and continue from there. I think that'd be extremely enjoyable.

I need 2-4M to be ready to consider stopping. I get large joy from my shares and watch my wealth go up. I want to have enough wealth to have a secure life so I can spent all of my time helping kids with bad parents. I never knew my dad he was a sailor and my mum was a working woman, only 15. I grew up in shitty life in brothel before my extended family bring me to UK. Everyone at school bully me and call my mum a whore, I was very sad. My mum always write me letters but I ignore them and began to hate her for being a whore. She came to visit once after saving money up but I called her mean things about being a whore and she should leave. I think it broke her heart because i realise later in my life her only happiness in life was dreaming that I would be a good person in uk. She jumped in canal not long after she leave UK and never lived again.
