Imagine a future where crypto became adopted, and all governmental and private institutions started using it.

Now imagine one day a guy recieves $10,000,000 worth of Monero and deposits it into his wallet.

What can the IRS or any other legal body do to know where that money came from or what did that random guy do to earn it? Nothing.
For all they know it could be money laundering. Best they could do is tax it, they can't freeze it because there's literally nothing to investigate.

This is the future of crypto. Monero will always exist if crypto gets adopted. Any legislative body or government is scared shitless of this, and will subsequently do everything in their power to stop it, thus, destroying crypto forever.

There is literally zero point in a crypto controlled by the government. Its basically no different than any other currency.
Why use monero when the US dollar exists ?

Cryptocurrencies exist to give power back to the people. By adopting common currencies everyone becomes a holder of the means of production and can remove the exploitative hacker capitalists out of the game.

The govfags' best bet is to make possession of monero a crime and persecute holders/traders. It won't really stop illegal transactions but it'd definitely put a damper on it. Unfortunately for the US feds, there's an extremely solid case for all cryptocurrency being protected by the first amendment. On the other hand, they could also just pass an amendment since the deep state is totally out of control at this point.

This is all bullish for me as a local cash-crypto money exchanger. Even if monero becomes banned, it's trivial to securely transact for cash for a fat 5% fee.

>Cryptocurrencies exist to give power back to the people
The average 100 IQ Joe doesn't give a shit whether his money is tracked by the government or not, it's literally irrelevant to him.
The only people who get affected by it are criminals, tax evaders, and fraudsters.
These are not "The People" or the common man.

You can be a college kid intellectual jerk off all you want, but any system that supports anonymous money is a system that can be easily abused by criminals.
