How do you deal with the constant FOMO this board provides? No matter when I open it there always seems to be something poomping and mooning and I'm just hodling my small coin portfolio. How do you deal with the constant anxiety that you are missing out on the next moon?

Take it from me, an anon who is here just to look at pink wojaks and cute boys. I didn't fomo into anything, basically all in btc and eth with trace amounts <0.01% of other random bullshit. I basically missed every single pump here posted in years and years. Still feel pretty good about it, sitting on lifechanging gains without needing to worry about stuff. It's easy to feel like some kind of financial genius when you can buy anything and it goes up 5x or 50x next week, but when you are risking large portions of your stack one drawdown means your ammo or even your will to live is severely depleted. Sometimes in investing the hardest thing to do is nothing.

However to be fair it depends on your risk tolerance. If you have 10k and feel like you will die without 100k next year, you're gonna have to eat some risk regardless. Being in shitcoins means you'll definitely have to constantly be on top of things. I shit you not, in 2-3 years all these bags of curry shilled on /biz/ will have negligible value. Trading these risky things requires a commitment.

there are many pump and dumps shilled here and I personally dont mind since it cleanses the newfags out of this board. just accept that there are endless opportunities out there and it only makes sense that you're not gonna be apart of every single one of them. Learn to filter out what's a rugpull and what's not. In a bull market, it doesn't really matter what you pick to ride your money on. Almost every single top 100 coin is mooning. Keep looking for good opportunities and most importantly, have patience.

By actually understanding crypto and recognizing that only 1-2 coins will actually be worth anything longterm and everything else is a vaporware fraud operation. People who make money from the pumps aren't smart, they're just lucky they got out in time. I don't worry about the retard making $100k at the roulette table, it was a losing proposition from the start.
