My opsec is on point and I sufficiently double checked the digits so I'm certain it wasn't a mistake on my part
I was going to turn these into USD now I'm at the mercy of support and the market (and it's Friday so no chance of any help from support for days)

This shit makes me want to go full crypto at least then I actually control my own money

I keep every penny to my name in crypto on wallets that only I control. I pay my bills with my wagebux, but if one is late, I never have to worry about my account going negative or losing money I had set aside for something else, or *shudders* HAVING TO CALL A SUPPORT LINE. YUCK.

also I’m immensely cozy knowing that my checking account is also a part of my investment portfolio and will grow in value over time rather than lose it.

Wew well immediately after opening a support ticket the transaction was confirmed. Like the support ticket confirmation and deposit confirmation both came in at exactly the same time. I bet there was some sort of automatic process that happened after I submitted the address and hash to support.

I'm still done with centralized exchanges except for fiat on ramps. Defi is the future and I truly believe that, I'll put my money where my mouth is from now on.

Idk I don't know anything about their trading platform. You should use metamask for storing ETH and erc20 shitcoins. I exclusively use uniswap for trading now since I don't have to worry about some chink exchange cucking me for whatever reason (especially as US citizen).

Besides the fees it's hard to do better than this combo

Blockfolio used to just be an app to monitor your portfolio (you'd manually enter that you have 3 bitcoin and 2 ether) and it tracks the total value for you.
They recently introduced a trading platform though. I know nothing about it. I don't intend to use it since there's more tried and true ones to use for trading.

Tbh coinbase is fine for keeping coins on. It's just the moving them on or off that is a mega pita and can be very stressful if things go wrong.

Coinbase sucks mega balls but I hate to say it is one of the better ones in terms of security and insurance.
