The signs of ''the top'' is that most people will religiously attack anyone slightly bearish.

My parents bought a house in 1995 (Australia) for $155,000.

In 2000 the house prices here started skyrocketing, in 2006 my parents decided it was insane, and to sell, they got $440,000.

They then decided to start renting, and wait out for a crash so they can buy back in cheap when they believed house prices would fall down to a reasonable level.

In 2008 the GFC happened and instead of house prices dropping they actually continued skyrocketing in Australia.

In November 2020 the house they sold for $440,000 back in 2006 sold for over $2 million dollars.

My parents are still renting, priced out of the market, completely, and what about their $440,000? Well inflation raped the profits they made on that by holding it waiting for an opportunity to buy.

Dont be like my parents, being overly bearish can actually ruin your life worse than being overly bullish. At least if youre overly bullish, you still have an asset....

Hold on to things that actually have value and have room for long term growth. There is a difference between meme stocks and unstable shitcoins whose value sinks as fast as they pump

Unless you have a plan to immediately reinvest, you are usually better off holding anyways in a time of unprecedented fiat debasement.
