I'm pretty sure the whales know everything there is to know about Chainlink and even more with insider info. These aren't some neets in a basement. These are high IQ probably early Bitcoin whales and Ethereum whales. Think in the $300m+ at minimum. These guys are all connected. It's basically like a cartel. They all cooperate to make more money. I'm sure they are connected to Sergey as well and if Sergey needs a higher LINK price then they will let it go higher. The suppression can last as long as it's profitable meaning if the buy pressure is just too big, then they have to let it go up to the next leg and repeat the pump/dump/accumulation cycle at new prices. You can see LINK is going higher and higher although really slowly. If a wider market crash were to come, I'm sure LINK won't dump much. I'm from 2018 so not an ICO og, but I've pretty much seen all LINK threads since 2018 February.

I have 2 theories both have to do with the incredibly small supply of LINK on exchanges.

1: They can't buy LINK without it going up quickly in price due to the supply shortage. Only way to get it "cheap" is to dump it by dumping BTC. This one seems unlikely, although it seems fishy that as soon as LINK starts to go up a BTC dump follows.

2: Due to the limited supply the slightest movement down in BTC causes a large drop in LINK due to bots selling to buy the BTC dip. This does not explain why it happens every time it reaches ATH however.
