I only buy the underlying. Since the model is based on options pricing, I can't actually buy the options themselves.

Cool to hear you work with MATLAB though. There's a great computational finance suite that's like ~$500 for a personal license that I use to make these models. Model's still in the validation phase (testing on the fly because I'm too poor for historical options data), but I'm hopeful.
