The point is keeping things within the Etherium ecosystem. If someone just wanted to cash out sure use Monero but most people just want to trade. That's the thing, HBAR has its own network, so for enterprise use that is favourable under a closed system. However, ETH is where all the DeFi is, and there's no denying that it is the big player on the dapp stage. Which is why I believe RBC is important because it will (hopefully) remove the problem of fees on a DEX, allow cross-chain, and also be anonymous. That's before they intergrate other chains as well.

This is true, and I tend to lean into eth token investments generally. Part of the problem though is that ETH may be hardcapped at the number of transactions per second it can handle, and that hard cap may extend to every token on it. I may not understand how directly integrated tokens are on the etherium network though.

i mean, how many transactions per second do you think the real world has? It's got to be in the millions per second (Visa advertises 65,000 per second for it alone). On a long term basis, going up to 2000 transactions per second in crypto is not going to lead to mainstream adoption.
