Lol yes. It seems that very few outside of economics knows wtf economics is, and yes it doesn't train you on the practical things necessarily... and tokenomics is more like grade 3 math anyways. Economics is to finance/accounting/business what physics/chemistry is to [their relevant streams of] engineering.

If this is a rug pull though, its a decently long term one with a surprising amount of effort. True that an ideologically motivated nerd is going to be far more reliable, but I think there's plenty of opportunity for an economics nerd to zero in on crypto for ideological reasons as well.

metamask is unironically the easiest ethereum wallet there is. just search for it in firefox extensions or in the chrome web store (also chromium browsers like brave, etc).
you will want to use it eventually, believe me. MEW (myetherwallet) isn't cutting it these days.
then go to asko.finance and click stake. you will be prompted to confirm in a metamask pop-up. then you're good to go.

as for your 19k. if you plan on holding this long term, or at least a month, i would do it if it were me. i would wait for the best cheapest time on eth gas fees (now is a good time) and stake.
